I love sweet scents, Pink Sugar by Aquolina is one of my favorite scents. I also love some fruity scents such as Delices de Cartier by Cartier, Fantasy by Britney Spears and With Love, by Hillary Duff. But Love Spell is just sickening.
Children of the 1970's and 1980's and beyond will recognize the smell of Love Spell immediately. Do you remember that horrible bubble gum pink liquid children's antibiotic? I had to take that awful medication more times than I care to remember growing up. I would cry and throw a fit when
I was very young, because the taste and smell would just immediately nauseate me. I immediately vomited more than a few doses, because my gag reflex simply wouldn't allow me to keep it down. I'm a child of the 90s so I don't know of the medicine that you're talking about. However, of my years of wearing this smell I have actually gotten compliments from people on the smell (both male and female). I believe Love Spell by Victorias secret does indeed have great qualities, otherwise the scent would not have been on the shelves for so long. I can understand why you don't like it though.
I've come to realize that men usually love this fragrance...I get compliments on it every single time I wear it, but when other women smell it on me they have negative things to say, "It smells like pure alcohol...It smells like medicine, etc." Very strange.
